Five Questions With Banquet Operations Ambassador, Roxy Llewellyn-Burns:
- How many years have you been with Dubsdread Catering?
I joined the Dubsdread Catering team when my parents adopted me in January 2015. They put me to work right away as I was only 8 weeks old! - What is your college and/or life experience that prepared you for this position?
I have a ton of experience socializing with people as well as putting them at ease when they are touring our venue. I also have a sophisticated palate and am first in line to taste test recipes from the Dubsdread Catering team chefs. Though anything with bacon is my favorite, I am well versed in all of our Dubsdread Catering menu package offerings and am happy to show clients my suggestions during tastings when they ask. - What are your plans for your future career/personal growth?
I plan to continue growing my culinary knowledge by eating all the delicious food the chefs prepare so I can properly help them decide what items are good enough to add to our package offerings. I also want to continue to develop my Ambassador skills by upping my hosting proficiencies and hope to continue being asked to attend more weddings that want me there! - What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I love spending time with my humans, especially my new baby brother, Connor. I hope to teach him to appreciate bacon and to be a good sharer. I like going for walks and sniffing everything and anything. - What do you enjoy most about your position?
The endless amounts of bacon.
