Here Connie Duglin Linen’s Dean Perry, Senior Account Executive, Orlando Division, shares his experience and answers to some frequently asked questions:   

How long has your company been in the industry?

We’ve been supplying linens and more to events for 26 years now.

How many events do you supply to annually? (Can be approx. of course)

We supply linens to more than 95,000 events annually as we are a national company. 

How would you describe your company?

We pride ourselves on being responsive, accurate, flexible, and being reasonably priced. We have more than 1,800 products in stock – any color, texture, or concept can be found. 

How far in advance do you recommend clients book their linens for their event?

Wholesale clients usually only need a few days of time ahead of their event. Clients selecting for personal events, like weddings, parties, and corporate events, usually need at least three to six months prior to the event to allow for adjustments to quantities, food service options, and more as plans change closer to event time.

What advice do you give to couples when choosing linen for a wedding?

Get linens from a professional linen company. Even if it is just basic linens, the quality and personalization that comes just from tablecloths and napkins can make a huge difference. 

What is a pet peeve of yours during the planning process? (Something the client may not be aware of)

Obviously, I love the effect really beautiful linens have on the look and feel of an event. When clients rely on solely on venue or caterer-provided linens because they are “free”, it often lessens the impact of the space and eliminates a lot of the personalized feel of the event.
